If it wasn't obvious, I'm a 10,000/day stepper
GOTTA GET THOSE STEPS IN BABY!!
but I'd be lying if i said that shit doesn't take a while.

Thankfully my job helps push me to the peak.
but I usually get a jump on it with a morning walk.
~
Though its literally a "walk in the park" sometimes.
There are days where it's the bane of my existence.
~
To hit the morning goal, it usually takes about an hour.
and there are plenty of days where impatience gets the best of me.
Looking for any possible way to get these steps in a little bit quicker.
~
But, after realizing that the only true solution, is running.
or "yogging"
My frustration quickly adjusts to gratitude.
~
Oh how the clouds seem to lift and birds begin to chirp
When I think..."well at least I'm not running right now"
~
Is there a better feeling?
~
Not knocking those that get their kicks from a 5k or more.
Whatever gets you moving!!
And honestly, running has a lot going for it..
~
Cardio..
Endurance..
Work Capacity..
Mental toughness..
The list goes on!!
~
I however, unfortunately, had to step away.
~
We had a good go!
There were just parts of me..
(my knees)
that started to feel a different way about the relationship.
~
Maybe we'll get back together one day.
Heck, I'd be lying if I said I don't think about it on a warm summer day.
But for now...
I'll keep walking.
